Indian Railways YD Class Meter Gauge Steam Locomotive. Primarily meant for freight. Found working passenger and freight on the Vasco-Londa Goa line till mid to late 1980s. Locomotive type & no.: IR, MG Steam 2-8-2 YD Class, SWR No. 30164.
The WDP4/WDG4 are High end Passenger/frieght class diesel locomotives, used in the Indian railways for fast express and heavy freight. Indian railway manufactures them currently under license from EMD, and there are around 150+ of the locomotives on rails in India. The original EMD class specification for this loco is EMD GT46PAC/GT46MAC.
